CHICAGO UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL 2001

By Film Threat Staff | March 4, 2001

The Chicago Underground Film Festival is the Midwest’s premiere showcase for independent, underground and experimental film and video – is looking for films made with passion and skill. Films made because the filmmakers had no choice but to make them. Films from the margins, unconventional cinema that will appeal to the discriminating sensibilities of our demanding audience. Works of exquisite beauty or unspeakable transgression. Films that will have them dancing in the aisles or plotting worldwide revolution. Deadline: April 7, 2001, final deadline: May 15, 2001. The 8th Annual CUFF takes place August 17-23, 2001. This festival is a non-stop party. CUFF shows films that other festivals would never have the guts to show. Go to show films, see films, talk films and live film. A fantastic fest! ^ Check out the official The Chicago Underground Film Festival site .
