The most disturbing commercials on TV in recent years are those Welch’s Grape Juice commercials, which beg the question of how anyone can look at a product like Welch’s Grape Juice when the cutesy girl raving about it has a freakshow head. It’s remarkable how the product actually manages to look smaller than those pigtails! Whether a camera trick or a creation from Welch’s laboratories, it’s not the grape juice anyone’s wondering about.
Fortunately, “Blue Milk” rectifies those commercials by employing a young girl with a normal-sized head, Princess Leia (Corinne Grammer) in fact, happily talking up how good Bantha Blue Milk is, as it’s made on Tatooine. Of course, being the adopted daughter of Bail Organa, the Empire is not going to go unchecked with how she feels about the other blue milk in the universe. Even though it’s an amusing parody, “Blue Milk” is aware enough to know that some commercials are going to tick off the wrong crowd. And it’s all in good fun.
