Any short that combines action, comedy, skateboarding and a sex change operation deserves accolades for having the balls to tackle such tough subject matter. Or lack of balls, if you think about it. Two gay lovers are on the run when they discover more than $40 grand after a rival gang shootout. When the Asian hoods come looking for their dough, the two lovers got some splanin’ to do. They’ve already spent the cash on a sex change operation.
Shot on digital video, “Blue Haven”‘s frenetic pace, biting wit and balls out action make it a short worth watching. Can’t wait for the feature.
