AFI ROCKS THE ROOF AT MIDNIGHT

By Film Threat Staff | October 26, 2005

AFI FEST 2005 have announced their Rooftop Village at the ArcLight Hollywood, which will serve as AFI FEST 2005’s central headquarters for the duration of the film festival. Innovative in its scope, the creation of this “Village” for AFI FEST marks the first time this rooftop space will be utilized to such an extent. Impressive, we know.
Opening Friday, November 4, the Rooftop Village will feature an interconnected suite of elegant hospitality pavilions awaiting patrons as they step off the elevator on to the rooftop level of the ArcLight parking garage. Centralized, accessible and convenient, the AFI FEST
“Village” will offer panoramic views of Los Angeles from a spectacular location.

But what’s more important, AFI FEST will screen music docs at midnight at the Rooftop Village throughout the festival.

Friday, November 4 ^ JOHNNY CASH: THE MAN, HIS WORLD, HIS MUSIC

Saturday, November 5 ^ BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB

Friday, November 11 ^ ONE LOVE: THE BOB MARLEY ALL-STAR TRIBUTE

Saturday, November 12 ^ ABBA – THE MOVIE
