Alamo Drafthouse is bringing the award-winning absurdist horror film Littermates to theaters as a Drafthouse Exclusive on Friday, November 6, 2026. The film, a recent Fantastic Fest 2026 selection, will play a full one-week run at Alamo locations in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Omaha, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Francisco, the Twin Cities, and more.
Littermates marks the feature directorial debut of Scott Tinkham and Michael Woloson. It stars Joey Bader, Oliver Woolf and Kaylee McGregor.
Set against the backdrop of a mysterious war, Littermates follows two disoriented survivors who take refuge at an isolated cottage in the English countryside. Liam (Bader) and Mel (McGregor) arrive bloodied, speechless, and unable to fully understand what has happened to them. They are taken in by Chester (Woolf), an enigmatic caretaker who bathes them, feeds them, and teaches them how to speak again.
As sirens, smoke, and distant threats press closer, Liam and Mel relearn the simplest tasks inside Chester’s carefully controlled world. Good behavior earns them “nifties,” which they can trade for small comforts like karaoke, hot tub time, dance parties and favorite meals. Unlike Liam, Mel is far less willing to accept the boundaries of the cottage. She grows increasingly drawn to the woods, the locked gate and the larger world Chester insists is too dangerous to enter. When her curiosity pushes past Chester’s rules, the fragile order of the cottage is tested.

“At its heart, the film is an unconventional coming-of-age story set against a dystopian backdrop.”
The film has been building momentum on the festival circuit. It won the Jury Prize for Feature at the Manchester Film Festival and the Narrative Feature Competition Audience Award at Dances With Films in Los Angeles before screening at Fantastic Fest in Austin.
Tinkham is a Minnesota-based writer and director whose short 24 Hours After Reading Tuesdays with Morrie premiered at SXSW in 2025. Woloson, a Las Vegas native now based in Los Angeles, served as cinematographer and producer on that short and also shot and edited Littermates. Both have upcoming projects under executive producer Haley Nicole Johnson’s Under The Shell banner, including Tinkham’s Two Schizos Take a Walk and Woloson’s Broken Branches.
Littermates is executive produced by Haley Nicole Johnson, Joey Bader, Al Baker, Jake Kuhn and Noah Stratton-Twine. Oliver Woolf, Michael Woloson, Scott Tinkham, and Kaylee McGregor produced it. The music is by Noa Margalit.
Littermates opens exclusively at Alamo Drafthouse on November 6. Watch the trailer below.
