Architecture and Design Film Fest in LA March 14-18

Architecture & Design Film Festival is returning to Los Angeles from March 14th-18th at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Kicking off with the Short Films Walk (SFW: LA) on March 10th, design aficionados are invited to explore the Helms Bakery District, where six showrooms will open their doors and screen over 24 short films.

The festival will open with BIG TIME, a documentary that follows Bjarke Ingels during the course of seven years while he struggles to finish his biggest project yet. The festival will feature 30+ short length and feature films including those exploring the life and work of desert modernist Albert Frey and fashion designer Dries van Noten.

Founded in 2009, the Architecture & Design Film Festival celebrates the creative spirit that drives architecture and design through a curated selection of films, events, and panel discussions, It has grown into the nation’s largest film festival devoted to the subject with an annual festival in New York and satellite events in cities around the world.
