LAKE TAHOE AUGUST 24-27 IS THE PLACE TO BE…

By Chris Gore | August 9, 2006

Hey Gang-

I am headed to the Tahoe Reno International Film Festival in Lake Tahoe from August 24th through the 27th, so if you are in the area, come say hello. And hang out. And see movies. I’ll be there to hang out and see films and, well, somehow I always end up at a party or two. This is my second year attending the fest and it’s a blast — they know how to have fun in TR!

My bone-white skin acts as a reflector for women like publicist Emily from Dominon3 who prefer extra sunlight to achieve that perfect tan.

I’ll also be moderating a panel on Saturday, August 26th at 11:30 AM that sounds very boring, but I promise that I’ll make it fun. It’s called “The Distribution Maze: Finding Your Way.” Here’s the description from the program guide:

With the profusion of new technologies comes a wealth of opportunities for the independent filmmaker. The term Digital Revolution once applied only to the production and post production arenas, but it is now taking on new meaning in the world of digital distribution. And yes, it is ever-changing and a bit overwhelming. From on-line broadcasting to in-store sale of DVD’s, to the traditional channels of distribution, the options seem limitless. But which way to go? Moderated by Chris Gore and panelists.

Anyway, see you in Lake Tahoe… I’ll be gambling and hitting the pool.

Gore gone!
