This new short from the Zellner Brothers focuses on a man drifting about in the middle of the ocean, clutching onto what’s left of his belongings. The scene seems serene enough, no reason for immediate alarm here, but that’s only what the camera is showing us.
We suddenly jump to the man holding the camera capturing this image and we find him nervously hopping about a boat as a crew of men haul in this drifting man, saving him from a shark attack. Serenity is gone as harsh reality takes over the situation with panic, shrieks of pain and flowing blood.
Don’t always believe the camera. It’s known to lie.
