If Jedi Bill (voice of Chad Miles) and Jedi Ted (Tristan Snowsill) had ever existed in the Star Wars universe, I think George Lucas would have been Wampa food long ago. “Dude!!! Where’s My Lightsaber?” is incredibly annoying, and in trying to serve as what I presume to be a respectful nod to Bill & Ted, it ends up being a downright insult. Too many “dude” lines permeate the proceedings, which include an encounter with their evil robot counterparts (reminiscent of “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey”), and while that’s probably the point, these two slackers are not endearing in the slightest. They claim themselves to be Wyld Jedi, but even the original slacker boys of celluloid had more energy than these two.
