Blackchair Productions announced that Griffith Place Films will present the Los Angeles premier screening of Independent Exposure as part of their monthly Hollywood Shorts series. Independent Exposure, the popular microcinema screening program of short films, videos and digital works from around the globe will present the works of Mark O’Connell (Seattle), Modi (LA), Jessica Grynberg (Australia), Tom E. Brown (San Francisco), Alina Chau Hiu Fan (LA), Dave Johnston (N. Ireland), Lisa Shannon (Portland), Dylan Marshall Sisson (Seattle) and many others!
“After five years of screenings in Seattle and 25 countries around the world, I am thrilled to finally be screening not only in Los Angeles, but at Kim Browning’s Hollywood Shorts series,” said Joel S. Bachar, curator and programmer of Independent Exposure.
Hollywood Shorts is a monthly festival series introducing emerging directors, producers and their production teams to the Los Angeles film and television community through their short subject film, video and animation.
The Hollywood Shorts screening of Independent Exposure will take place on Sunday, June 11th, 2000 at The Gig – 11637 West Pico Blvd. (one block east of Barrington) in West Los Angeles.
