I took a lot of s**t for my gradual discontent for “Land of the Dead,” and rather condescending criticisms toward the “Dawn of the Dead” remake, but if that’s so it’s only because I have the good taste to notice said flaws in both films. Vain? Oh yeah, you bet I am.
Either way, in what looks to be a wonderful rebound for Romero, here is the official trailer to “Diary of the Dead,” which mixes Romero’s dead mythos with “Blair Witch.”
Now when can we see some viral marketing for this bitch? Perhaps some fake news clips on the ten o’clock news? Some specials about the slow dead epidemic?
