By Film Threat Staff | December 21, 2004

The Woodstock Film Festival has announced a brand new forum for New Yorkers to see hot, new independent film. ‘WFF in the City’ is a bi-monthly screening series that will provide a showcase for fresh, original films that have screened at the Woodstock Film Festival.
Debra Granik’s award-winning Down to the Bone debuts the series on Tuesday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater, 155 East Third Street (at Avenue A).
“Although we have year-round programming here in Woodstock, we have been looking for another outlet to highlight some of the very special,cutting-edge films that screen at the Festival, ” said WFF director and co-founder Meira Blaustein, “Not only do these films and filmmakers deserve greater exposure, audiences also deserve a chance to see these films. We are incredibly proud to bring WFF to the City.”
