WANNA SEE A “HOT CHICK?”

By Film Threat Staff | December 14, 2002

So, “The Hot Chick” opens today and…well…we’re not going to have a review of it for you. You see, the holidays have arrived and each of us here at Film Threat Headquarters is doing their best to fight off a nervous breakdown. Sundance is also rapidly approaching, so we’re busy dealing with that whole bonanza. Also, we’ve all caught a serious case of the clap, our bottoms are leaking, and a dog ate our homework. Listen, we just don’t want to see the goddamn movie, okay. The thought of having to sit through a Rob Schneider film makes our stomachs turn.
Sure, we’ve missed a few films here and there (“The Adventures of Pluto Nash” being one of them. Can you blame us?), but for the most part, we do our best to bring you reviews of major releases right when they open, if not beforehand. But with “The Hot Chick,” we’re putting our foot down and telling you straight out – HELL NO! WE WON’T GO!
This is where you, the Film Threat readers, come in. We need you to review the film for us. The most clever, most grammatically accurate and all around best written review will appear on FilmThreat.com on Monday night, December 16th. The winning reviewer will also have a brand new frosted Film Threat mug sent straight to their home. How you like the sound of that? Your name on the Film Threat site and a FREE BEER MUG. And the best part is that no one at Film Threat has to go see “The Hot Chick.” So, let’s see what you’ve got?
Send all reviews to me, Eric Campos.
