Sony and AtomFilms have come together to present “Make Your Mark,” a new contest designed to help three people make their first films.
Ten Make Your Mark finalists were selected from more than 800 submissions by judges at Sony, South by Southwest and AtomFilms. Now, it’s up to the public to decide who will be the final three winners. Your vote will help determine these winning filmmakers that “Make Your Mark” will award an opportunity to create and premiere their first short film. The three winners will receive a suite of Sony digital video gear, a $15,000 production budget to produce their short film, expert advice and their own film screening at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX. By casting your vote online, you can become eligible for one grand prize trip to the South by Southwest Film Festival including airfare, hotel, and festival passes.
Voting continues through December 13th, with the winners to be declared on December 19th.
