“VILLAGE VOICE” FILM CRITICS STRUCK HOARSE

Venerable publication “The Village Voice” is playing hatchet-man with its film criticism department, laying off longtime film editor Dennis Lim and critic Michael Atkinson. So far the only one left standing is J. Holberman, and who knows what’s left to come. Is this the end of indie film criticism in New York City?
