THE TONGUE GOES THROUGH THE TEETH: TEACHING ENGLISH IN CHINA

By Doug Brunell | December 1, 2005

This documentary touches on everything involved with teaching English to the Chinese in their country. Nothing is romanticized, and the teachers seem pretty truthful when it comes to the problems associated with such an endeavor.
If you ever thought about moving to a foreign country to teach its natives the ins and outs of our language, then this is something you should view (especially if the country you want to teach in is China). If you have no interest in the subject, however, there is absolutely no reason to watch this film as its appeal is pretty limited.
