I saw a film today, Oh boy.
A mock documentary,
About a dumb rap band who didn’t make the grade,
And though the reviews were rather sad,
Well I just cringed and nearly snapped,
When I had finished watching this unfunny crap,
Trying desperately to be “Spinal Tap”,
They blew my mind out with this junk,
Knowing the Beatles influenced this,
Put me in quite a funk,
And though I cringed and tried to turn away,
I knew I had to watch,
I wasn’t really sure if these guys were the anti-christ,
I wanted to turn this off.
What would you do if I turned this crap on,
Would you stand up and walk out on me
Lend me your time and I’ll yell of this junk
And I’ll try not to blast our your ears,
If I turned this on for you would you scream in fright,
Yes, I’m certain it would happen all the time,
I got by with a little help from my mind,
Oh, I’m gonna cry if I have to see this one more time,
I saw this unfunny film today, oh boy,
Tried to wonder what purpose this film was for,
The people I was with groaned and turned away,
Walked off and pitied me because I had to stay.
But I knew I had to look,
I had to turn this off.
I’d like to thank you on behalf of my sanity, and I hope I passed the audition.
