The people behind the Pixie Awards firmly believe that “for any medium to survive, stars in that medium (great actors, directors, writers, painters, etc.) must emerge.” This reasoning, along with the fact that online film is now a very popular and ever-expanding part of the film world, gave birth to the inaugural Pixie Awards last year.
