THE JAMERICAN FILM AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Jamerican Film & Music Festival stirs up a second year of revelry with Cinema Inna Yard, this year’s mix of filmmakers, new works, and the best coffee, rum, and jerk chicken in the world. It is, after all, held in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Festival begins on [ November 15th and ends on the 19th, 2000 ] and if you’d like to be considered, all submissions should be received by [ September 31, 2000. ]
The Festival emphasizes the contributions of Caribbean filmmakers, but also extends a welcoming hand to the works of all other cultures as well, with a focus on features, shorts, documentaries and music videos. Special panels and seminars include a coffee and lesson with acting coach Howard Fine, whose clients have included Brad Pitt and Salma Hayek…and Shaft himself (Richard Roundtree) will be in attendance.
