TEAM FILM THREAT VS. THE 2007 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

By Mark Bell | January 12, 2007

Every January filmmakers and film fans go to the mountains of Utah to celebrate and be celebrated during the Sundance Film Festival, and every year, Film Threat is there to report on the insanity. To help you keep track of Team Film Threat’s Sundance 2007 stats, here’s the Park City line-up:

Mark Bell – Film Threat’s Editor-in-Chief will be celebrating his 6th year in Park City by wearing a kick-a*s Eagles-style hat, finally elevating himself to the crazy-hat status he’s been praying for since he met the Madhatter of Park City, Slamdance’s Dan Mirvish.

Sally Foster – Sally was a Sundance rookie in 2006, but now she’s in the starting line-up, delivering the film reviews you need to survive.

Chris Gore – Film Threat founder and festival veteran Chris Gore will be all over the town, reporting for G4’s “Attack of the Show” and partying like the rock star we all know and love.

Zack Haddad – The man nicknamed “Rookie” will be making his Sundance Film Festival debut, and will most likely be seen wandering Main Street in his Steve Zissou-style Film Threat beanie.

Jeremy Mathews – Jeremy is a Utah local who has pwned Sundance for Film Threat in the past, and he’s not going to let us down this year either.

Jamie Tipps – The Rocky Mountain region is Jamie’s home turf, so if anyone is going to be able to survive the elevation and cold, it’s Jamesway.

DAILY REVIEWS, INTERVIEWS AND FESTIVAL NEWS!
We arrive in Park City on Thursday, January 18th and we won’t let up until the festival ends. Check back with Film Threat daily for new reviews, interviews and festival news as Sundance rolls on.

VIDEO REPORTS FROM SUNDANCE!
If you like your interviews and news with a bit of the ‘ol audio/visual, Film Threat will be delivering the video here on the site and via our iTunes podcast. Last year we talked with John Waters, Kirby Dick, the “American Hardcore” boys and covered one fierce night of partying on Main Street, all for you (except the partying, that was for us).

BLOGGING GONE FILM THREAT!
When not watching films, writing reviews or slipping around the snow on Main Street, Team Film Threat will be candidly sharing the full festival experience with pics and commentary over at the Film Threat Blogs. Check out last year’s blogs to get primed for the fun to come.

Keep yourself warm and toasty by the computer and check Film Threat for the most comprehensive coverage from Park City every day during the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. If a film is playing Sundance, we’ll cover it… or die trying…
