TAKE THAT, AMERICAN PIE!

By Film Threat Staff | March 22, 2000

Do teen movies have to feature the phrase “With a soundtrack featuring Blink 182?” Not according to Redeemable Features, who has officially declared the week of March 24th as the first annual “Bring a Teen to an Independent Film” week. The week will launch with opening of their Miramax release, the un-American Pie-ish “All I Wanna Do,” starring Kirsten Dunst, Lynn Redgrave, Heather Matarazzo, Gaby Hoffmann and Rachael Leigh Cook at the UA Union Square–the perfect film and venue to celebrate with. Redeemable’s calling all teens (and their brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, etc.) to see the movie and deliver a message to the WB: We don’t want your “Dawson’s Creek!”
