TAKASHI MIIKE’S “GOZU” SCREENS IN LOS ANGELES

By Film Threat Staff | November 21, 2003

Takashi Miike’s latest film, “Gozu” will screen at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles on November 25th.
A young yakuza thug named Minami is ordered to assassinate his mentor and best friend, Ozaki – but
coincidentally, Ozaki dies in a freak car accident before the hit can be carried out. When the body mysteriously disappears, Minami goes on an increasingly surreal and dreamlike journey ala Lynch’s “LOST HIGHWAY…”

Hope you like yakuza.
