After raising social-consciousness and igniting controversy with his amazing “Munich,” could Steven Spielberg be diving back into the realm of magical fantasy with a remake of “Mary Poppins?” Apparently the live musical adaptation is so popular in London that a film is imminent and Spielberg has expressed an interest in directing. I guess he didn’t learn his lesson with “Hook.” Ah well, we’ll always have “Munich.”
