By Film Threat Staff | December 26, 2000

Sure, you may have heard Grandpa’s tall tales one too many times, and you’re bored to death waiting for the roads to be cleared so you can get away from all of that family, but at least you aren’t obsessively calculating your way through advanced mathematics. Just in time to ease those holiday tensions, the Sundance Channel is airing Darren Aronofsky’s debut thriller “Pi” on [ Tuesday, December 26th ] at both [ 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM ] .
1998’s “Pi” is the story of genius Maximillian Cohen and the mental war he wages with a tidy little conundrum known as chaos theory. Wall Street bigwigs and Jewish academics catch wind of his studies, and then the real madness begins. For more on the “Pi” screenings, as well as an extended schedule, see the [ Sundance Channel site. ]
