SUNDANCE 2001: BY THE NUMBERS

There’s an old myth that Sundance skeptics like to repeat, “They only show films that already have distribution!” Out of 114 films playing at Sundance, remarkably only 13 come into the festival with distribution already in place. Some of the other statistics about Sundance 2K1 may also surprise you. Here’s a quick look at the Sundance Film Festival 2001 line-up that may offer a few surprises.
