“Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation” has a reputation for featuring some top notch comedy and “cartoons.”
This DVD compilation is no exception. In fact, of the twenty shorts presented here, there were only a small number of duds. Truth be told, it would be hard for anything to really shine when something as good as “Here Comes Dr. Tran” is on board, but the fact that most of the pieces hold up to that one really says something about the level of quality found here.
If you’re a fan of good animation and bizarre comedy, you already know about this DVD. If you’ve just woken from a coma, though, and miss “Fritz the Cat,” then you should head on out to Circuit City and buy a DVD player and this disc. If you don’t, you should journey on back to the hospital because you’ve obviously suffered brain damage and need more care.
