SONOMA SNEAK PREVIEW

By Film Threat Staff | December 17, 2002

The Sixth Annual Sonoma Valley Film Festival, Cinema Epicuria, is pleased to announce its first-ever Sneak Preview weekend, January 25 – 26, 2003. The two-day event features screenings at the Sebastiani Theatre of two “Official Feature Film Selections” from the upcoming Sonoma Valley Film Festival schedule, intimate question and answer sessions with the visiting filmmakers, exclusive VIP parties, “epicuria” tastings of local food specialties and award winning wines, and some “olive-fairy inspired” entertainment and activities for the kids. Gotta drop the little rascals off somewhere while you’re getting smashed on that award winning wine, right?
Taking place April 9-13, the 2003 festival will feature more than 40 works, including new independent feature films, fascinating documentaries, quirky shorts and student films, as well as a series of discussion panels for filmmakers, film lovers and the curious. The Festival will also host, for the second year, the hit alternative “Lounge” series of ultra low-budget films from beyond the cutting edge. Additional highlights of the upcoming Festival include: VIP events and receptions for patrons, sponsors and filmmakers, “epicuria” wine and food tasting at all film screenings, special tributes and awards for filmmakers and actors, and the Cinema Epicuria Art Exhibition – a juried show featuring regional artists.
