SKYWALKER, LUCAS AND “ROBOT CHICKEN” TOGETHER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME

By Film Threat Staff | April 26, 2007

Word on the streets is that the hit and miss show “Robot Chicken” has legally done what has got many filmmakers sued over the years. They’ve somehow managed to get George Lucas to not only allow “Star Wars” to be parodied, they’ve also got Lucas himself to lend his voice to the show.

Mark Hamill will also appear as Luke Skywalker and “real” sound effects of Chewie, R2-D2 and others will be featured. The real question here is, what did “Robot Chicken” co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich do to get Lucas on board? We’ve seen Seth Green and he’s small enough to fit in the R2-D2 costume. Hopefully there’s no sexual favors being bandied about.
