SEE UNSEEN: EARLY EXPERIMENTAL FILM ACROSS THE COUNTRY

Here’s your chance to catch screenings of several selections from UNSEEN CINEMA: EARLY AMERICAN AVANT-GARDE FILM 1894-1941, a seven-disc DVD box set of 155 films being released by Image Entertainment on October 18, 2005. The rare films of UNSEEN CINEMA reveal the accomplishments of artists working in the United States and abroad from the invention of cinema until World War II.
Presented by preservationists and curator Bruce Posner and DVD producer David Shepard. Posner and Shepard prepared the DVD in collaboration with 60 of the world’s leading film archive collections.
