“Sacrilege”, a short film by Mike Messier, chronicles the further adventures of the character Eddie Pause (Mark Carter). It consists of two friends discussing the finer points of romantic love.
And fat chicks.
More a filmed actor’s workshop than a short film, “Sacrilege” goes nowhere. The dialogue is crass and unoriginal, and the characters have few redeeming qualities (especially Pause). If Messier is planning to construct a feature-length project around this character (as seems to be the case), he should definitely think twice about it.
