ROCK N' ROLL FRANKIE ON THE SCREEN

By Film Threat Staff | July 12, 2000

The fabulously fun flick “Rock n’ Roll Frankenstein” has been invited to screen at the THE SCI-FI CHANNEL’S EXPOSURE: FUTURE OF FILM FESTIVAL: A four day, Manhattan-based event including sneak previews of upcoming theatrical releases and short films from tomorrow’s Spielbergs & Lucases (or is that Lucasi?)…at least that’s what the Sci-Fi press release says.
R&R Frankie will be showing Midnight on August 5th at the Chelsea Clearview Cinema (W. 23rd St. between 7 & 8th Avenues). This’ll be the first time in North America that a 35mm print (with surround stereo!) of R&R Frankie screens in a real movie theater.
And on July 11th it’s off to Korea for the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival: [ www.pifan.or.kr/eng/index_e.html ]
