RATS RUN AMOK AT SXSW

By Film Threat Staff | March 9, 2000

Save the comments about it being a cheesy movie! “Rats” interweaves three story lines in what filmmaker Jim Felter is calling “an exercise in cinema verite and fact-letting.” We call it a film about the rats in a small dumpster in the back of an alley. History will decide.

You’ll get the chance to witness the daily life and death struggle of rats as they face the challenges of the cold, unfeeling humans who want them out of their alley.

Rats reveals the relationships in attitudes and events that have contributed to the proliferation of armies of rodents in Washington, D.C., the capital of the most prosperous nation in the history of mankind. As visually intense as its subject matter, RATS educates while offering realistic solutions to the problems created by our disposable society.

Plus, there’s lots of squeaking!
