The s***s…err…hits just keep coming. Dimension Films has announced it’s plans to remake the B-horror classic “Piranha” to possibly be directed by Chuck Russell of “The Mask” fame. When will these studios realize that the reason so many people like these old horror films is because they’re really, really cheesy. Some of them (like the original “Piranha”) have great screenplays as well but these remakes act is if we were genuinely frightened the first time around so they try and make them “seriously” scary.
