PETER BAGGE PENS "SHUT-INS"

By Film Threat Staff | November 22, 2000

Some would call Peter Bagge, the creator of the iconic “Hate” comic, something along the lines of “the grandpappy of post-punk pop culture scribblings”. In his own words, Bagge sums up his appeal and his latest project, the Adobe-housed animates series “The Shut-Ins,” as such:
“My total level of genius is so unbelievably high that the tech issues surrounding getting this strip to happen pale in comparison to the totally large government-like think tank effort that I pour into making this strip as completely amusing as it is.”
“The Shut-Ins,” featuring Chet and Bunny Leeway, are Bagge to the bone — very, very funny. Take a look at [ their web-home. ]
