By Film Threat Staff | September 18, 2002

Stefan Nadelman has been chosen as the grand prize winner of the Perrier Across America filmmaker contest. Competing against four other filmmakers, votes were gathered online and Nadelman’s “Tourist Pictures” came out the as the champ.
The film will now be screened at the 2002 national RESFEST film festival tour and featured on two select Palm Pictures’ DVD titles. Additional prizes include a management contract with RES Artist Management, affiliated with Kurfirst/Blackwell Management and a one year’s supply of Perrier.
Stefan Nadelman’s “Tourist Pictures” is a film which embodies the essence of taking to the road with a camera and visiting America’s most popular attractions with the intent of recording those experiences. Attractions in the film include The Statue of Liberty, The St. Louis Arch, Mt. Rushmore, Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The film not only questions the intent of camera-wielding tourists, but also presents the picture within a picture, filmmakers as tourists themselves.
