OSCAR’S 2005 SHORTS DISPLAYED AT THE EGYPTIAN

The American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre presents
a limited engagement of Academy Award Nominated Shorts, from Thursday, February 20th through Sunday, March 6th. The screenings include this year’s Academy Award nominated shorts, in both the Animation and Live-Action categories. The same program will be repeated at each screening.
The series includes “Gopher Broke” (USA), “Two Cars, One Night” (New Zealand), “Birthday Boy” (Australia), “Little Terrorist” (India), “Ryan” (Canada), “7:35 in the Morning” (Spain), “Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher” (USA) and “Wasp” (UK). Three of the nominees were previously premiered at the
American Cinematheque at programs throughout the year: “Two Cars, One Night” (National Geographic/All Roads Film Festival); “Wasp” (Women in Shorts); “7:35 in the Morning” (Can’t Stop the Musical Shorts); “Birthday Boy” (Down Under Wonders) and “Ryan” (A Tribute to Animator Chris Landreth).
