ONION A/V CLUB IS GOING ON CINEMA-CENTRIC VACATION WITH “POP PILGRIMS”

By Mark Bell | May 17, 2011

This idea is so cool, I wish I’d have thought of it first. It’s kind of like the Rolling Roadshow of travel documentary featurettes: The Onion A/V Club is traveling to different cities to tour and report on fictional movie locations via their new show, Pop Pilgrims. Here, I’ll let the trailer describe it for you…

And if you enjoyed what you saw, here’s the first episode, focusing on the fictional Nakatomi Plaza, better known as Fox Plaza in Los Angeles, where the bulk of Die Hard was set. And it even stars one of my favorite critics, James Rocchi!
