NEW YORK CHILDREN'S FEST GEARS UP

By Film Threat Staff | January 31, 2001

The New York International Children’s Film Festival was created with the mission of bringing “passionate, creative, meaningful films to children and teens”. Say the people of the NYCFF:
“The lack of distribution for independent kids’ films has made it difficult for good works to find an audience. It is the festival’s goal to bring these tremendous films and audiences together, and by doing so, encourage innovative filmmakers to continue to create for young people.”
The Festival begins on [ Friday, February 2nd ] at the [ Directors Guild of America ] (DGA, 110 W. 57th St.) at [ 6:00 PM ] . All other NYCFF films will be screened at [ The Cantor Film Center, 36 East 8th Street. ] For a full Fest schedule, ticket prices, and more, see the [ official New York International Children’s Film Festival site. ]
