NEAL FREDERICKS TRIBUTE SCREENING OF “EROSION”

By Film Threat Staff | September 14, 2004

American Cinematographer and Panavision will host a benefit screening of “EROSION in honor” of Neal L. Fredericks.

“EROSION” was one of Neal’s last projects. It’s the second feature film Neal lensed for his ex-wife, writer/director Ann Lu. Their first collaboration was the feature film “DREAMERS”, which earned Neal a Best Cinematography Award at the 2000 FLO Film Festival.

The screening is free but donations are requested. Proceeds will be given to the Neal Fredericks Scholarship Fund at Towson University, Maryland. Cash or personal checks will be accepted at the screening.

From Ann Lu: “We are trying to reach a $10,000 minimum threshold, so that the fund can start generating interest on its own and becomes an ongoing scholarship instead of a one time installment. We hope everyone in LA can come and support the effort and see Neal’s work, which he was so very proud of.”

The screening will be held on September 14, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. at Laemmle’s Fairfax Theater, 7907 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90048. Seating is limited and RSVPs are suggested.
