MY DAY OF DOCUMENTARIES…

By Mark Bell | April 2, 2008

I may not survive today. Not because the movies are expected to be bad, but because I may be too depressed to continue. Catching a doc about the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe (cheerful), following that up with Lou Reed’s doc / performance of the most depressing album of all time, Berlin and then seeing the Bowling for Soup doc (that one will likely NOT be depressing, so I might find salvation after all).

Regardless, I couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel room to share with you all this picture:

What alternate universe have I stepped into? Guitar Hero III lounge, guys using mountaineering gear to wash the windows of the hotel room (seriously, guys were rappelling down the side of the W this morning… scared the Hell out of me when they got to my window), intimate Public Enemy performance, a panel during a lunch at the House of Blues and A F*****G CHIMPANZEE!?!?! This can’t be normal for Dallas…
