MR. NICE GUY

I think Jackie Chan has invented the new porno. There’s a bunch of bad acting and inconsequential plot linking the stuff you actually want to see, and there are the same four or five guys going at it all the time.
As usual, Jackie plays “Jackie”, a TV chef in Melbourne, Australia. Yadda-yadda-yadda, videotape of drug deal, Yadda-yadda-yadda, they think Jackie has it, yadda-yadda-yadda, hilarity ensues.
Richard Norton is the evil drug lord. He’s the martial arts actor used in every Hong Kong Kung-Fu flick where they need a big white guy. He’s only fought Jackie Chan in maybe, oh, 35 films. Overall, the fights are better and more plentiful than the last couple of U.S. releases, primarily due to director and stunt choreographer Samo Hung (“Enter the Fat Dragon”, “Once Upon A Time in China and America”). Apparently Samo got sick of his “Jackie”-ness and dropped any fights for a BIG gratuitous ending that is satisfying, nonetheless.
