It certainly looks that away. Website Kung Fu Cinema was apparently served a cease and desist order from Miramax in regards to their unlawful selling of DVD imports of Hero, a film that Miramax owns North American distribution rights to. What caught Kung Fu Cinema by surprise is that they’re not in the business of selling films, only writing about them and linking to sites that do sell import DVDs. Apparently linking to these sites is an accesory to the crime.
This action against Kung Fu Cinema is a part of Miramax’s supposed strict ban on Asian import DVDs of which they own distribution rights to.
