“MILLENNIUM ACTRESS” TO SCREEN IN TIMES SQUARE

Big Apple Anime Fest 2002, the largest anime film festival in America, will present a sneak preview screening of Dreamworks’ recently acquired anime feature “Millennium Actress” on August 31st, 7:30pm, at the Loews State Theater in the Times Square Virgin Megastore.
Directed by Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue), award winning film “Millennium Actress” tells the story of a director who is hired to film a documentary about a legendary actress who, 30 years earlier, abruptly ended her career and vanished from the limelight. The director becomes obsessed with his subject and is determined to unravel the truth behind her mysterious disappearance.
The screening of “Millennium Actress” will be introduced by Taro Maki, the film’s producer. Mr. Maki will also be hosting a question and answer session directly following the feature.
