"METROPOLIS" SCREENS FOR FREE

Film Threat’s Phil Hall will be on-hand to host a special FREE screening of “Metropolis” on [ Friday, November 3rd, 2000 ] . The screening will begin at [ 8PM ] and will take place at the [ Triangle Community Center at River View Plaza, 16 River Street in Norwalk, CT. ] The show is a part of the roving Light+Screen Film Festival, which celebrates both landmark cinema of the past and newly-released independent films.
Fritz Lang’s 1926 classic “Metropolis” was given a once-over in 1984 by director Giorgio Moroder, who located much of the missing footage from the Lang original and re-released the epic with an all-new rock score, which features Adam Ant and Freddie Mercury among others. The controversial revamped version will light up the screen at this special FREE event.
