McFarlane Toys often sets the standard for incredible looking, collectible figures, and they’ve recently released Series 3 of their “Movie Maniacs” collection. The best-selling line has always included a “mixture of figures — from avenging angel to subhuman slayer to demonic doll to run-of-the-mill madman.” The new additions boast more points of articulation, and added accessories, than ever before.
This time around, Edward Scissorhands gets the plastic treatment, as well as a couple of classic creatures (The Fly and The Thing). But what’s coolest about Series 3 are the unexpected maniacs: a Snake figure from “Escape from L.A.” and a killer Ash, complete with blood stains, from “Army of Darkness”.
