A remote island off the coast of Florida is host to one of the film festival world’s best kept secrets. But not for long. I’m about to expose Florida’s new hotspot for fun and film. I spent an amazing weekend hanging with filmmakers, seeing movies and partying with the best of them. And I even made a few new friends in some very unlikely places.
The 4th Annual Marco Island Film Festival screened “feel good” indie films, put on informative filmmaking panels, held tributes and special events with actors Dean Stockwell, Robert Loggia, Nastassja Kinski and Jane Russell, and held wild nightly parties all over the course of a four-day weekend. A true film festival vacation, the pictures tell the whole story…
