By Film Threat Staff | July 24, 2002

Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira’s (“Valley of Abraham”, “The Convent”, “Journey to the Beginning of the World”) new film “I’m Going Home”, starring Michel Piccoli, John Malkovich and Catherine Deneuve, will enjoy an exclusive Los Angeles engagement beginning August 30th at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills.
The film pairs the 93-year-old writer/director with legendary actor Michel Piccoli (“Contempt”, “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie”, “La Belle Noiseuse”) in this exquisitely crafted story of an aging French actor who, despite personal tragedy and a waning career, is determined to live life to the fullest.
The Music Hall is located at 9036 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Ticket prices are $8.50 for general admission, $6.50 for students and $5.50 for seniors 62 years and older and children under 12. Filmgoers may call 310-274-6869 for recorded program information.
