The Lucy in question here is a dog with a very active imagination. The bitch is passed out in a chair and having one avant garde little dream. Some of the time, in this dream, Lucy is just a dog going about its business — but the rest of the time, Lucy is played by Katrina Alexy and is doing stuff like visiting a therapist and listening to an older woman rant about seeing Frank Sinatra sing in some night club.
For some reason, Gina Schock of the Go-Go’s is in this, bringing some star power to the proceedings. (I dig her, so she’s worth another star all by herself.) All in all, “Lucy’s Dream” is one damn freaky movie. I’m not sure what the hell happened, but it was an enjoyable fantasy — not unlike a dream.
