LETTERBOX FILM EVERY MONTH

By Film Threat Staff | September 6, 2004

On August 19, the Old Town Theater in Alexandria kicked off the Letterbox Film Night, a monthly independent film festival. Starting in September, the media event will be held on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
Letterbox Film Night was founded in 2004 by filmmaker/TV producer Tom Prather to promote independent film and provide filmmakers the opportunity and vehicle to share their work with the public on a monthly basis.
The monthly event will include screenings of the winning submissions, comedians from the DC Improv, music, give-a-ways, guest speakers, the Cabo Wabo After Party at Austin Grill and much more!
