LAUNDRY

By Chris Gore | February 6, 2001

Will romance blossom between a beret wearing young chick (Olivia Honeycutt) and a pudgy, unshaven gent? This is the question that hangs over the launderette in the short feature “Laundry”. Meanwhile, back at home our beer-bellied protagonist is fed up with his chatty, stripper girlfriend (Ruby Bullock), which leads him to the hallowed laundromat of destiny.
Director/star Chad Benton is talented and the film grabs your interest, but then it ends with no pay off. “Laundry” could’ve been great if it had just lasted another few minutes and given us a real ending.
